Classes K + H + E represented by 52 students went on a studytrip to London in late April. The weather was changeable except for the day when we had booked a 4 hour guided Street Art tour. That day it was raining cats and dogs. Two months rain falling in 24 hours…Wet, wet, wet
Our program started with a visit to Natural History Museum. And if you think this is a place with dusty, stuffed animals you have to think again.There is a fantastic display of all sorts of multimedia installations and experimental devices and you can even experience a simulated earthquake. Very interesting museum and it is free
Later we had a guided tour in BBC. We have been in the heart of the News department. We have walked around in the second largest studio in the world and we have participated in a quizz program and heard stories about the big stars’ very very speciel requests.
Later in the afternoon we had arranged a meeting at the teachers’ hotel with 4 Danish students now working as interns or studying in London.Tina has worked as a multimedia design intern on her 4th semester in the company Mint TwistSteffen is studying International Communication at Aarhus School of Business and now an intern at Visit Denmark. Martin has a bachelor degree in Financial Management and Service from our Academy and is now studying at London Metropolitan University for a Master
Astrid is making her bachelor assignment in cooperation with an organisation in London. She comes from the design school in Haderslev. it was very interesting to hear about their experiences in working, studying and living in London
